Firstly, I want to say a huge thank you to the emergency team for being absolutely wonderful. Some of the nicest staff I have ever met, keep up the great work. Unfortunately, it is a bit slow in there, and the place could really use some extra funding.

My colonoscopy and endoscopy appointment was perfect. Dr. Ruo and nurse Christina were so professional, so kind, caring, and helpful throughout the entire process. I didn’t feel anything and honestly had the best experience possible. All of the nurses and receptionists were amazing people — very caring, professional, and supportive. Thank you so much for all your help and care. I truly appreciate it.💕

A friend of mine was admitted to the Juravinsky emergency room, and his experience was so terrible that I felt obliged to share it here. He was admitted for severe stomach pain and anemia. Based on his account, they had him laying on a bed for 6 days in a hallway with no answers. Reportedly, the nurses were extremely rude and insensitive, at one point laughing and joking in the hallway about having "three code blues in one day"... Seriously, what is this? The community college equivalent of hospitals?.. After almost a week of laying in a hallway and only getting more sick, he discharged himself with no answers as to what was wrong. After a few more days of unbearable pain he took a taxi to Hamilton General. Within 1 hour they diagnosed him easily with a bowel obstuction... How in the world could the team at Juravinsky miss such an easy diagnoses is beyond me. Nonetheless, god help anyone who has to endure this armpit of a hospital, and their terrible staff who act like they are still in high school. Do better, or at least find people that can.
