  Was in the store waiting at the checkout and the cashier (who was young and polite but obviously needed help) was trying to deal with an unhappy customer. Cashier called someone on the phone for help and that person kept giving her instructions over the phone. Meanwhile the line kept getting longer. Whoever the person was on the phone showed lousy customer service and managerial skills. They should have come down from their high horse and immediately helped the young cashier in person. There are plenty of other shoppers drug mart stores so I probably won't be back to this one.

  I have no issues with Shoppers Drug Mart, but this recent experience left me completely appalled. Around 5:30 p.m. on May 17, 2026, I went in to purchase an over‑the‑counter medicine for my child. When I couldn’t find it on the shelves, I approached the young man at the pharmacy counter. As I walked toward him, he saw me approaching and immediately turned away, walking in the opposite direction. I said “excuse me,” and he ignored me. When I repeated myself a bit loudly, he indicated that would be with me shortly. Instead of assisting, he pretended to open drawers, shuffle files, came back at the counter picked up the phone — clearly pretending to be on a call. When I finally asked about not being able to find the medication, his only response was, “If you don’t see it, then we don’t have it.” All this dismissiveness for no apparent reason. A colleague of his, a young girl who had witnessed the interaction, stepped in to help and found the medication I needed. On my way out, I told him directly that his behavior and attitude were unacceptable. I am considering returning to speak with his supervisor about this incident.

  I have a lot of medical complications and the pharmacy team here has never let me down or made me feel like I was taking up too much time when a difficult situation arose. The Post Office is friendly and efficient and the staff on the floor and tills have always been friendly. I highly recommend this branch.
