  Outstanding experience. Andres and Jack are true sleep experts. Their technical knowledge of mattress features and adjustable base considerations helped my wife and I determine what would be optimal for our actual needs and stage of life. They did not upsell. Instead, they offered sensible, practical, and highly informed guidance that allowed us to move forward with real confidence, meet our priorities, and stay within budget. I highly recommend both of these men at this location.

  8 months. 32 emails. 8 employees. Zero accountability. I purchased a $4,226 sleep system from Sleep Country Shawnessy in July 2025: Kingsdown mattress ($1,830), Casper adjustable base, and $198 in Extend "protection" plans. Within 6 months, the mattress developed visible body impressions. I'm now sleeping on a sagging mattress with daily back pain. What happened when I tried to get help: The $99 Extend warranty? Denied. Turns out it doesn't cover sagging - the #1 mattress failure. Nobody told me this at purchase. The manufacturer warranty? Denied. Doesn't meet their 1.5" threshold - even though the mattress is visibly failing. Customer service? Passed me between 8+ employees over 8 months. Store told me to call Customer Service. Customer Service sent me back to the Store. Store offered me a "friends and family discount" to BUY MORE instead of fixing the problem. The most shocking part: Sleep Country's Team Lead confirmed IN WRITING that they "normally follow policy" and only address "Alberta laws through a BBB claim or courts." Let that sink in. A major Canadian retailer admits they ignore provincial consumer protection law unless you force them. This was my second defective product from this order. The headboard I purchased was so flimsy it "waved like a flag." That fight took 2 months and threats of legal action before they finally refunded it. I was a loyal customer for 10+ years. I trusted Sleep Country's recommendations. I spent over $4,000. And this is how they treat customers. Save yourself the nightmare. Shop elsewhere.

  I am giving 5 stars because my experience with Jack was outstanding! I came in looking for a mattress, this was my first time ever buying a brand new mattress and I had zero knowledge on what I was doing. Jack greeted me and my family warmly and guided us through the process smoothly. He was not pushy or rushy. He was confident, thorough, knowledgeable and trustworthy. 100% recommend to anyone who is looking for exceptional customer service while purchasing a bed. Perfect experience! Not to mention, there is 10 year warranty on this mattress, plus, 15 year warranty on the water proof mattress cover as well. Thank you Jack at Sleep Country Shawnessy!!
