Be Aware of Hidden Fees and Lack of Disclosure - Check invoice before paying - and do not be rushed! I went to SleepNet with my 83-year-old father to replace his APAP machine. Unfortunately, the experience left much to be desired. Please be aware that SleepNet charges a $150 initiation fee (a standard practice) and an additional $275 for an SD Card/Modem (which is not a common practice and not charged by competitors). This $150 initiation fee and the $275 fee was not disclosed at the time of purchase. Despite my father questioning the service multiple times about the cost of the machine, he was dismissed. Regrettably, I dismissed his concerns as well. He tried to point out that the machine should have cost significantly less, and it turns out he was correct. When I called the office to complain about the lack of transparency, the response was simply, "That’s just how it is." This is unacceptable. I found that other vendors that sell this type of machine, like Medigas, does not charge this $275 fee. I didn't even get to the chance to talk about the charge for APA filters ($40) which we thought were thrown in as a bonus (because 5 were were literally thrown into the case) - again at an exorbitant price. I left a message with the owner of the place - but no call back - terrible terrible customer service! We chose SleepNet because of the convenient location and a recommendation from a friend. However, I urge others to do their due diligence before visiting. If you decide to use SleepNet, ensure you fully understand their fee structure in advance. The $275 SD Card/Modem fee is highly unusual and not standard practice in the industry. Transparency and clarity should be the norm, especially when dealing with medical devices for elderly patients.

I cannot recommend this vendor. Based on the positive reviews, I put myself in their hands. The result has been a full mask replacement. I followed up via email as to why I couldn't have just purchased the cushion. No answer has come back.

Was nice to find a sleep store locally. Amanda and Carla were very knowledgeable and so patient with my delays in getting on site to be set up with a new BiPap machine. This was in new year when RespMed machines were gradually being re issued after the recall. I don't have any insurance (other than ADP coverage), and the accessories are very, very expensive. The only thing that I can say is the actual building gives the impression it hadn't been well cared for.
