(Increased to 3 stars: I was contacted to let me know my messages were captured by their junk folder due to my reply address. I can relate to that. Though I can't increase my rating any further due to the reliability of the testing equipment) I chose The Breath Factory for my sleep evaluation based on initial positive research, but the experience has been disappointing. The process involves a wearable ring paired with an app, but despite following the provided instructions, my sleep data would not sync correctly. When I reached out for technical support, the instructions I received were generic, essentially just advising me to update Android, (my phone was already fully updated) or to come in and try the assessment again. More frustratingly, my subsequent follow up emails have gone completely unanswered. For a facility that is nearly an hour’s drive away, reliable communication is essential. It is unprofessional to cut off contact with a patient when technical issues arise, and I unfortunately cannot recommend them based on this lack of support.

The care from the staff at the Breath Factory in Lower Sackville has been exceptional; in particular, Christine and Celsea. My ENT presented the option to use the Excite OSA device rather than going right to a CPAP machine to see if it might improve my sleep quality. I am halfway through the initial part of the program and just completed a sleep study to check in on my progress. The results confirm that this approach is really working for me: sleep apnea scores went from mild-moderate to normal-mild. I am feeling relieved and optimistic about making further improvements. No matter the final result, I know the staff will be knowledgeable and supportive. I highly recommend the Breath Factory in Lower Sackville.

I was treated with so much care and compassion from every staff member. They are extremely knowledgeable and kind. I was given hope, but I was skeptic and had to come to terms with sleeping with a machine. I felt so heard and cared for. Now after a few short weeks on the trail I feel I cannot go without it! I feel my life was given back to me! I cannot stop telling anyone who will listen how much they can benefit from just taking a simple test!!
