I am beyond livid with my experience. As hearing aid wearer, I feel completely blindsided by Phonak’s deceptive marketing. The 'premium' L90 Lumity 312 disposable battery model has a pathetic selection of colors, and to make matters worse, the actual colors look absolutely nothing like the images online. It’s a total bait-and-switch. I was forced into this model because their newest rechargeable versions are unwearable, monstrously fat, clunky and they sit horribly behind the ear. This is the last time Phonak gets a dime of my money. Never again! 😡

I used to be so impressed by Phonak hearing aids but my current ones are driving me nuts. There is static, crackling, they are difficult to pair, they give me headaches (more than what would be normal) will show that they are actively paired but there is no sound at all, batteries already have issue with them dying as fast as within three hours, one will fully charge and one doesn't but yet the charging station is fine, and the sad thing is that they are just a bit over two years old. They were fine the first year but the second year has been nothing but problems. I was denied assistance for a new pair despite these issues so I'll be going without for at least a year, if not longer. I can't tolerate these extra sounds when I have tinnitus, auditory processing disorder and some hearing loss. I can't rely on the battery getting me through the day. I have the Sky M90-PR. BTE. I'll be changing companies. I'm not the only one experiencing these problems with the rechargable hearing aids. These are expensive, they should be lasting for as long as the company claims. I will never get a rechargable hearing aid again. I think that condensation is an issue because they are sealed where as the button battery type can be more easily dried out if sweat or condensation gets inside.

I’m not impressed with their service. My audiologist sent my 1.5-year-old Audéo Lumity for repairs to Mississauga, Ontario on Monday so that I could have them back by Friday. On Thursday my audiologist followed up with Phonak and apparently, they were working on them. Today is Friday, my audiologist phoned and told me to check back with them on Monday or Tuesday because the repair has not been done as yet. I have been dealing with Phonak for numerous years but I doubt that my next pair will be from Phonak.
