This place is very clean and the staff are exceptional. They are so kind, always. I totally recommend this place Especially with your loved ones care. The food is so good . Compliments to the chef and meal planner. Delish.

We found a resident wondering the streets of Vancouver at 10pm, Tuesday night. Called Care Facility and Kevin stayed they were too understaffed to come get him. Pushed resident up hill for 1.3 miles on his walker to care facility. I would highly recommend not leaving anyone you care about with these people. The resident we found was ill with bronchitis and surely would have died lost out on his own if we did not come to the rescue. Sad to say that in their hands, death would have been the better alternative.

My ex husband lives in the residential portion of this facility. Essentially the Lodge is there to house people from the community who are no longer able to live independently due to a chronic illness, or old age. My ex is terminally ill. I find the place to be acceptably clean (it is an old building), and the staff that I have met have all been exceptionally friendly and helpful. J.'s health has certainly improved since he moved there. He receives his meds on time every day and 3 squares. He has his own room with a private bathroom, and a view of the mountains! That said, most of the residents there are considerably older than J. (who is 53). Many seem very heavily medicated. None of them really speak...to one another or otherwise. They all look miserable. Anyway, J. doesn't love it there, but he, as I mentioned, is doing much better since he moved into the Lodge.
