First of all, the pictures online do NOT do this Home justice. Recently they have done an entire facelift. This is a true "Home" atmosphere not an institutionalized cold facility. The food is homemade, delicious and geared towards each residents dietary needs and personal likes. The rooms are spacious and very homey and all different. There will most definitely be one to suit you or your family member. The grounds are a beautiful country setting. Mom goes weekly to a seniors community group, she gets picked up right at the doorstep and dropped off there. The staff and owners are personable, warm, caring, and so professional. They always have time for Mom, and nothing she asks is too much for them, and they all spend quality time with her. The home is kept very clean. There is a lot of space to have family visits. It is truly a family environment. Mom's only wish is for more seniors like her, who want to be happy, healthy, and looking for a great inviting place to live. She would love a euchre partner or two! Or a few advid readers like her to start a book club with! When we call Mom or go to visit, she is so happy, content and healthy sounding. It makes our visits so enjoyable when we can 'just visit' and enjoy our mom, not worry about cleaning her room, doing her laundry, checking on her medications etc, we merely "visit" because we know Mom is well taken care of, cheerful, and delighted to be living at Countryside.
