My papa passed in January. My Grandmother & I tried to donate the rest of his clothes (which were in perfectly good condition) to other seniors and folks in this facility who needed them. The administration of this facility said no and all his clothes went to the dump as we had no time to bring them to goodwill ourselves since they rushed us out of the building so the next resident can come in. That’s the state of our healthcare, folks.

So today was our Mom birthday. We took her for a drive and for Joeys Seafood. Great day. Our Mom is paralyzed on her right leg. We couldn’t get her into her wheel chair. The staff quickly swept in and got a lift and placed her in her wheelchair. Such a caring staff! Thank you for taking such great care of our Mom.

East home is the best home for the aged. Staff is fantastic, the meals are great and it is kept very clean.
