About
Pocketpills is Canada's online pharmacy and telehealth platform offering prescription delivery, medication refills, and consultations with licensed healthcare providers for Canadians across all provinces and territories.
Senior Care Path Summary
Pocketpills combines online doctor consultations, prescription management, and home delivery of medications, all accessible from your phone or computer. Licensed Canadian pharmacists and healthcare providers review each prescription carefully before dispatch, ensuring safe medication management without clinic visits or waiting rooms.
The platform is particularly suited to older adults managing chronic conditions like diabetes or high blood pressure. Automatic refill reminders, easy tracking of delivery status, and direct text or phone access to the care team help seniors stay on top of their medications at home.
Free delivery to your door across all Canadian provinces and territories means seniors without easy pharmacy access, including those in rural or remote areas, can receive medications reliably. Insurance handling and often-covered telehealth services reduce administrative burden on older adults.
Pocketpills meets Canadian healthcare privacy standards with SOC 2 Type 2 compliance, meaning your health data is encrypted and secured to the highest standards. No family doctor is needed, and the platform works well for prescription renewals, everyday concerns, and managing multiple medications alongside a doctor's care.

awful awful awful! my pharmacy and I have been calling for a transfer for a week now! the delay has caused me to miss my dose. still waiting! there is 0 excuse to delay pharmacy transfers. EDIT: you have time to reply to reviews yet still won’t authorize the transfer, I’ve been on hold for hours and haven’t been connected to a representative. I’ve sent multiple texts and my pharmacy has called multiple times as well as sending faxes for a transfer. As if emailing will change anything! What a joke.

I used to really enjoy using PocketPills because it was quick, convenient, and easy to get support whenever I needed it. Unfortunately, something seems to have changed. It has become very difficult to reach the PocketPills care team. Whether through chat, text, or phone, getting assistance now takes much longer than it used to. I recently transferred a prescription from another pharmacy, and the process is taking far longer than expected. What was once a smooth and efficient service has become frustrating and time-consuming. At this time, I'm still waiting to get a call back from them. I’m very disappointed with the decline in customer service. PocketPills used to make managing prescriptions simple and stress-free, but that has not been my recent experience. I hope they can improve their response times and return to the level of service they once provided.

It was my mistake to try pocket pill. Honestly, I think it’s way more reliable to just go to a local pharmacy since the staff there usually answer during business hours. Sometimes, an independent pharmacist even sticks around for 10-15 minutes after closing to help you out. Not Pocket Pill, they won’t pick up calls, reply to emails, or texts in the last hour before their shift is done. If there’s any mix-up with dosage, they won’t call you to sort it out quickly. They will just put a hold on your meds. With a local pharmacy, you’ll probably get your meds the same day it’s prescribed. But with Pocket Pill, it can take 5 or more business days. Relying just on an app or online service can be frustrating and cause delays. Good customer support needs enough staff to actually talk to people — without that, the whole point falls apart. It’s just not practical if it’s stressing you out or confusing you. Visiting a local pharmacy is simple: you get a quick, one-on-one chat without delays or mix-ups, and they usually respond during office hours.
