I went for months and did not make progress, and I actually regressed. I finally switched to a different office entirely with a new physio who specialized in post-surgical recovery, and he re-evaluated me and found an injury that had been missed for months by my first physio which had been causing me life-altering chronic pain (SI joint). I got an SI belt on his advice and THAT DAY I was able to reduce my pain meds, and from there I made steady progress with a completely different program and set of exercises. I was upset about this for a long time, and I felt very let down by the dockside physio I was relying on. I wish he had admitted he was out of ideas months earlier. I wasted 6 months recovery time with this office. If a client is not progressing, they should have re-evaluated or referred me along, not waited for me to get so discouraged with them personally that I finally sought a second opinion. I think if you have a run of the mill issue, without complications, this can be a great office. The people were kind. If you happen to stall out in your progress, if your issue is complex, if you're recovering from a surgery or you had an accident / traumatic injury, consider that physiotherapists can vary widely in their specialties and some physios take a lot of additional training. I don't understand why the person I was seeing at dockside didn't recognize I had an SI joint injury which was causing severe pain for months, and I don't understand why he never took the initiative to do the simple tests my second physio did to quickly find the injury.

Roman was absolutely awesome. He's got a great energy - he's calm, super knowledgeable and patient. I went for some shoulder stuff and the education he provided about the injury was invaluable, and the exercises he showed me have improved my range of motion.

I threw my back for the second time, and I was so fortunate a friend recommended Dockside to me when it happened. The first time I hurt my back, it was a slow and painful recovery. This time, Evan so kindly saw me the same day and I attribute 100% my amazingly quick recovery to his care and expertise. On top of that, his team at the front desk is incredibly welcoming and kind. Highly recommend!
