KONE is a pretty awful Manufactuer and Service provider. We were equipped with KONE elevators for a residential tower, and we've had issues, such as travelling cables shredding and as well as Hoist cables rouging. They have blamed our 3rd maintenance contract service provider. It's funny b/c our sister tower has a lube and service maintenance contract with KONE and even they have to replace their elevator hoist. If this doesn't say they don't stand by their product, nothing does. Look them up online, worldwide they have garbage reputation and in Toronto, I could not locate a single customer who would provide a positive reference. Silence speaks volumes.

If there is a possibility of giving a zero star then that is what I would have given them. The elevator in condo building 5170 Winston Churchill Blvd, Mississauga, ON has been out of order a number of times for a week each time. The technicians haven't a clue what is the issue. We keep getting happy talk that it will be fixed soon. I have a disability and must use the elevator. What am I supposed to do when no one is prepared to fix it? For practical purposes Kone is useless ... !!
