My mom Fran has always been treated with dignity, respect and the utmost care from the nursing staff at Beacon Hill Villa. The nurses (and all staff really) are exceptional. They are communicative, professional and fun. Happy Nurses Week!

A bit of excitement for Beacon Hill Villa neighbours last night, when, according to the fire department, an employ cigarette ashtray (or urn?) caught fire, filling the neighbourhood with acrid smoke from 9pm to 11pm. It was a hot night and all our doors and windows were open, so the stench was intense. Luckily the fire department is around the corner, but I wonder why employees are allowed to smoke on the premises, and are also encouraged to smoke on the sidewalk in front of Beacon Hill Villa.
