  I Found Independent Living Nova Scotia Very Out of Place and Very On The Scamish Side of Things Not really wanting to telling there Clients were there Office Location was at in fact they did everything to not let Myself and others know where they were located at. I Was Given "Kayla" Very Nice Lady and Very Supportive but I Found her lacking The Knowledge That She Really Needed to know but she did not Actually know The Rule Difference from The Provincial Side of Things Compare To The Federal Government of Canada witch would have put My Federal Pension Disability at Risk of being Cancelled ! I Found That Kayla at Independent Living Nova Scotia Often Flirts and Hits on Her Clients at times and gets "TOO CLOSE" And sends all the wrong messages. When I Asked Miss Kayla at Independent Living Nova Scotia to speak to her Supervisor Miss Kayla at Independent Living Nova Scotia "REFUSED TO DUE SO" After a Year Working with Kayla at Independent Living Nova Scotia She Terminated My File With Independent Living Nova Scotia because of My Mental Health Disability ! And Now Because of That Miss Kayla at Independent Living Nova Scotia Is Now Before The NovaScotia Human Rights Commission. I Found that Kayla at Independent Living Nova Scotia was mostly only interested in Accessing My Canada Pension Disability More than wanting to give me services that actually worked as most services usually fails most people in need of support. Miss Kayla at Independent Living Nova Scotia knew I Struggled to Express Myself when trying to explain things and she also knew that sometimes "Emails and Voice Messages" Can be sent in a way that its not mint to be and because of this The NovaScotia Human Rights Commission has to investigate her.

  Staff whoever answers the phone is very rude & condescending, & ignorant especially when you have never been to their office and have never even met them yet . Think twice before you want to be a client of their DSP provider unless you like to be abused by their staff employees.

  Great organization doing a lot of good in the community for people with disabilities.
