How we collected this
This first edition reports the median advertised monthly starting price by Ontario city, aggregated from the starting rates that senior-living residences publish in the Senior Care Path directory. We invent no figure: each city median comes from real advertised prices (cleaned to a plausible monthly band), and we publish a city only where at least three residences advertise a price, with the sample size shown and thin samples flagged. Per-suite medians from direct collection (advertised rates plus scripted pricing calls) are being added, and will replace this starting-price view as coverage grows.
