Isn't the purpose of having a VON is to avoid having to drive myself to meet them at THEIR location? I am taking 4-6 Tylenol-3 for pain for the next few days. No way will I drive myself or bum a ride. Its their job and they are paid for their services. Their "staffing issues" sounds like a THEM problem....not mine. My chain of command will be notified

I am very displeased with VON. Yes, some nurses are nice- many are not. I have been trying to determine what type of bandage they used the first times they came. They would not tell me the type except brand name. They took the bag of bandages they used so I don’t even know what to look for. I told they healed my sores. The last bandage they gave me was a joke. Not impressed at all.

I want to start off by saying this review does not reflect the nurses that provide the service. This review is about the administrative and management services. They are extremely disorganized, they provide erroneous information and with confidence and they leave the nurses in the position of consistently, not knowing what they’re coming to visit me for. I received services for two things: ostomy bag, change, and IV port cleaning. I have been receiving the services for well over two months. To this day whenever the nurses call they don’t know why they are coming to visit me, they don’t know when my next port cleaning is – even though I have multiple times given them the date. If I request that they show up before a certain time because I have an appointment to get to, they don’t communicate, they don’t let me know that they can’t until the last minute. The service for me has been terrible. I wish I could afford to hire someone private and not have to deal with them anymore.
