Senior Care Path Summary
Arise Therapy Collective is a Victoria-based occupational therapy clinic led by Maryam Misha, a Registered Occupational Therapist (OT Reg. BC) with over 20 years of clinical experience. Services address emotional regulation, sensory processing, life skills, and hand therapy. The clinic operates in-person in Victoria and provides virtual OT across Canadian provinces, offering flexibility for clients who cannot attend in-person appointments. However, the website emphasizes services for children and teens, with limited information about geriatric-specific experience or accessibility features relevant to seniors.
The clinical director holds advanced certifications including Youth Mental Health Specialist, Tomatis Method Practitioner, and DBT-Certified Clinician status. Services include ICBC-funded occupational therapy for brain injury and hand injuries. Pricing ranges from $120 to $160 per session, with assessments starting at $500.

I came to Arise after a prolonged period of burnout. I genuinely felt like nothing was going to help and that I had already tried everything. Maryam was incredibly knowledgeable, kind, patient, and informative throughout the process. She suggested the Tomatis Method and was respectful of my initial skepticism about it. After trying it, though, I can honestly say that I feel better. I’m not 100% there yet, but as a neurodivergent young adult, Maryam has given me tools and support tailored to my needs that make me feel like I can truly move through this phase of exhaustion. I am still in my opening program and already noticing positive changes, and I’m looking forward to continuing with my consolidation program.

We had a great experience with Maryam. She clearly understands neurodivergent brains and runs sessions in a structured, purposeful way. I really like her practical approach: she gives small “experiments” to work on between sessions so progress continues outside of appointments. My 19-year-old felt comfortable and respected, and I felt confident in her methodology right away. Highly recommend for autistic and ADHD young adults.

An exceptional Occupational Therapy service. Maryam is incredibly skilled, warm, and genuinely attentive. The quality of patient care is outstanding—every session is delivered with compassion, professionalism, and careful attention to individual needs. The virtual OT sessions are engaging, well-structured, and highly effective. You can truly feel the level of care and dedication in everything she does. Highly recommended. 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
