  Dissatisfied with the service received by Cindy Wood. She got us a quote for home & auto. The auto quote was double what we were paying so we didn't switch but we did change our home to Portage Mutual (signed all the papers and even got the letter in the mail). Afterwards I randomly started getting emails from Intact (our previous insurer). For some reason I saw our home & auto was with Intact, so I emailed Cindy as I was pretty confused on what was going on. I came to find out that they apparently changed a rule 1 day before we signed up and didn't accept us anymore (from a hail claim 3 years ago). Not sure but rather confusing as she was talking rather fast explaining this to me on the phone. We were already with Intact and contacted InsureLine to find a cheaper quote but now are right back with Intact - this was a HUGE waste of time on my end. This doesn't make any sense to me but she had an excuse for everything and said she was out of town previously and that's why she didn't answer my other email 1 and a half weeks prior. Multiple times we planned a time to talk on the phone and she would be half an hour late or completely forgot she had an appointment and couldn't make the call. Very unprofessional. Maybe it was a way to get us in the door as she recommended us to switch from our old broker to InsureLine. Either way, I'll be looking for a new insurance broker.
