About
Owl Hearing Clinic is an independent audiology clinic in Toronto offering comprehensive hearing testing, hearing aids, tinnitus treatment, and earwax removal. Led by Anika Cai, a registered audiologist with over 15 years of experience.
Senior Care Path Summary
Owl Hearing Clinic is particularly well-suited for older adults. The website explicitly addresses the link between untreated hearing loss and dementia risk—a key concern for seniors—emphasizing that early detection and hearing aid use can reduce cognitive decline by up to 48%. The clinic is owned by a registered, CASLPO-regulated audiologist with 15+ years of experience, ensuring evidence-based care.
Accessibility is strong across three central Toronto locations (Roncesvalles, Eglinton, Rosedale), with extended hours including weekday evenings and Saturday appointments to accommodate working families and busy schedules. The clinic also offers mobile hearing testing for clients who need home or office visits—valuable for seniors with mobility challenges or those managing complex health needs.
Owl Hearing provides personalized, transparent care: all hearing aids include Real Ear Measurements (the gold standard in audiology), a free 2-week trial at home before purchase, and lifetime follow-up service. The clinic carries all 2026 hearing aid brands and models and is a Registered Assistive Device Program vendor, helping seniors access OHIP coverage if eligible. Upfront pricing removes uncertainty for older adults on fixed incomes.
The emphasis on connecting with loved ones and maintaining cognitive health through better hearing shows genuine understanding of how hearing care improves quality of life for seniors.

I spent 12 horrible days barely hearing out of one ear. I booked a wax removal appointment with Anika, and in just 10 minutes she safely and painlessly cleared it. My hearing is completely back now. I definitely recommend this clinic!

Anika is a very knowledgeable and patient Audiologist. She takes her time to explain everything you need to know and books a follow up appointment 2 weeks after your fitting to answer any questions or concerns. I can now hear on my completely deaf right ear because of the “cross” aid that Anika fitted for me at a very fair price. I would highly recommend Anika if you have hearing issues. Gary Donald

I had a really pleasant experience getting my hearing checked here. The whole appointment was quick and hassle-free - the test took about 15 minutes! The space is also very clean, simple, and has a great aesthetic. My results showed my hearing is perfect, and Dr Anika also explained that I may be experiencing auditory processing difficulties, which was really helpful to know. On top of everything, it was very cheap and reasonably priced, and you can use insurance to claim it back. Highly recommend!
