  The young man who served me was very nice, but this was one of a handful of places who told me my lenses HAD to be thinned or they would not work in the frames I had chosen. I went home disappointed thinking I wouldn't be able to afford new glasses as I don't have coverage. I visited Eye Society about a week later, who explained (before I asked) that thinning lenses is an option, but NOT required. So they got my order, two pairs of designer frames and I really don't care if those lenses stick out a bit. I recommend being honest with people that thinning lenses is not required in all cases. And as it turned out, I was one of those cases. $1,000 is absolutely not an option for me, but Eye Society got $600 from me for two Victoria Beckham pairs. I gave this three stars because this young employee felt for me when I left, and I appreciated that, a lot. Addendum: while I have noticed the response from the business, I just keep talking to opticians (several now) who tell me it's for cosmetic reasons only, and that all I needed to do was change frames to something that could support thicker lenses. I was not offered that option...and I will stick with Eye Society who have come through for me over and over again, for more than 20 years now.

  🙄 My advice: find another place to buy your prescription glasses from.NOT this place.. We spent over $ 1,000 for two frames and lenses here. One pair came with poor quality lenses...and the second frame we have nothing but problems with. In this store, the only thing they care about is to sell you something... They never properly sized the frames for us, the lenses are falling out of these cheap frames they sell as premium, but are actually very average China-made frames that cost them only a fraction of what they charge you for them. We just wasted over $1000 in this store. Avoid our mistake and shop somewhere else. You have been warned... Yes, we went to other optical centres to get their product evaluated by other experts, so it is other experts' opinion that this store's product quality is poor, not just ours. Not worth the headache and a time wasted for us coming back to get the frames fixed on multiple occasions...in one case, we cannot even do anything because they did not even care and sold the wrong size frame to one of us....as confirmed by other optical centre, wife needs medium frame and they just sold her a large frame...overpriced large frame😵‍💫 The only thing they care about is to sell you something...nothing else Bad business..bad product quality...we will not be back ever and you should never enter this place!!!!! My honest opinion based on our experience with this place!!!!! ..and now you will get the reply from the owner of the place...Michael, that will sound like:" Sorry, that must have been some misunderstanding....or sorry..I do not remember or recall any problem like this...and more" I just wanted to share my experience with this business...it is up to you, the readers of my review, to decide if you want to waste your money here as we did... All the best to all.
