Dr. Laverty is a very sweet and thorough optometrist. She answered all my questions. I will only get my glasses here as I can always count on my glasses being of great quality and last me the every 2 year script renewal. I fell once for a competitors buy one get one free gimmick and those glasses didn't last very long before their coating was peeling away and the frames falling apart.

I called around 5 optometrists today and I ultimately picked White Oaks Optometry because of how well the phone call with the receptionist named Jessica. She was very friendly, understanding of my needs and very knowledgeable. She provided me with all the information I needed even before I had to ask. It was a quick a seamless process to get an eye exam booked, and I’m excited to come here specifically because they provide a in-depth eye exam, OTC( Optical Coherence Tomography) - which not all Optometry provided. I hope her team knows how much of an impact she has to her team! I’ll update my review after I’ve had my eye exam. UPDATE: ★☆☆☆☆ I initially chose White Oaks Optometry because of the excellent phone call I had with their receptionist, Jessica. She was friendly, knowledgeable, and made booking an eye exam a seamless process. I was particularly impressed by their offering of an in-depth eye exam, including OTC (Optical Coherence Tomography), which not all optometry offices provide. However, my experience took a disappointing turn after the exam. The optometrist conducted my eye exam and informed me that I didn’t need glasses. But when I received the paperwork, it incorrectly stated that I did need glasses. This was a critical mistake because the paperwork was for a potential employer that required proof of good vision. As a result, I was told that I might not get the job. When I called White Oaks Optometry to clarify the mistake and requested a quick recheck, they refused, insisting they don’t make errors. This left me in a stressful situation, so I had to pay $190 out of pocket to quickly get another eye exam at a different optometrist, where everything was confirmed to be fine—20/20 vision, no glasses needed. The new optometrist promptly sent over the correct paperwork, and thankfully, I was hired for the job. I can’t recommend White Oaks Optometry, especially when such a critical mistake could have cost me a once-in-a-lifetime career opportunity. If they can make this kind of error and then refuse to correct it, I would advise others to be cautious.
