My mother has been at this residence for approximately a little over a month and due to the caring, considerate and always helpful and attentive staff she has adjusted so much better that I could have ever imagined. There were a few hiccups but they were addressed promptly and the staff continuously follow up and are very receptive/responsive to my or my mother’s needs. She has had beneficial outings planned by an amazing events coordinator Holice and the staff will always check to see if she wishes to participate in an event by attending her room and encourage her to partake. The retrieve her for meals if she happens to fall asleep and will assist her in any manner possible. She recently had a Holter monitor and had a skin rash developing due to the sticky electrodes. A staff member attended my mother’s room and came back a short time later to give her a shower in order to help remove the sticky substance from her skin so it wouldn’t get worse. Anyone who has looked after an elderly person, particularly with dementia knows how difficult it can be at times and I couldn’t imagine a whole floor. However, the staff perform their duties with a smile, respect and professionalism. The facility is always clean, welcoming and cheerful. I can’t thank every staff member enough for all they have done to make the transition to her new home peaceful and very pleasant.
