“The recent cosmetic renovations (painting, balconies, parking) improve the visual appearance for visitors, but the organization of care raises serious concerns. Since the change in management, we have seen constant staff turnover and continuous schedule changes, creating significant instability for residents and disrupting their routines. Many experienced employees have left, replaced by staff who appear to lack training or who face a significant language barrier, complicating daily communication. Despite several reports to management regarding these shortcomings and the obvious staff overload, the situation remains unchanged. The emphasis seems to be on appearances rather than the stability of daily care.”

Since the Thomasins purchased the Myriade residence in March, I have noticed a significant loss of stability. The staff turnover is constant, which is very concerning when entrusting a relative to a care home. As a family, we want our loved ones to live in a stable environment, with employees they know and trust. For seniors, especially those living with health problems or cognitive decline, this stability is essential. The constant changes are difficult to understand and accept. I sincerely hope that management will take the necessary steps to restore a stable, reassuring living environment for the residents, one that meets their expectations. For now, I would not recommend this residence. If you are looking for a place for a loved one, I advise you to consider other options until the situation improves.

Not recommended. Avoid sending your parents there. The food is appalling. They're left to their own devices, with no activities. The residents suffer the consequences of all the changes; there's nothing to do except play bingo, and there's no human understanding. Please, if you love your parents, go somewhere else, not this place.
