  Hi mandeepreddy . Shame on you. I delivered your instacart order . I found 36 items (63 units) from Walmart and spent more than one hour for this delivery. I handed all stuff to a girl those working there. Nothing missing and wrong item .but you deducted whole tip . I contacted Instacart but they said nothing wrong no missing and damaged item. But why you deducted whole tip. If you needed more information I provided you screenshot. We do hard work . If you make free money I don’t think you care the seniors properly if you deducted a delivery person $10 tip. I think this is totally wrong .

  I see all these reviews are very old. My Mom resided here for seven months. 7 months too long! Why they call this home a "Nursing Home" is beyond my understanding. They have one lady that has severe Alzeimers. She resides on the second floor of this home. All the other residents that reside on the second floor are captive to her outbursts of anger, crying fits, and kicking doors constant wandering into others rooms and so on. It's not her fault, but she needs more care than this home can provide. All the other residence feel like they have to lock their doors and sit in their tiny rooms to avoid. There are zero activities in the home, and pets are not allowed. It is very sad. Many families who have loved ones in this home are looking to move them out just as soon as other accommodations can be found. The maintenance in this home is lacking big time. Outside was bad enough but when you lift cushions on their couches and get your fingernails full of dirt....that is a whole other story. I even found that they were serving week old chocolate milk the one day I stopped in at lunch hour. 😫 The young girls that work here are wonderful. They do their very best. However they work short staffed at most critical times where there is only one person looking after 16 seniors from 6am-8am and again from 6pm-9pm. One caregiver had been fired and rehired because they were so short staffed. They do have a new owner now and are trying to bring in new improvements but this was only caused because of many family meetings to push for more to help improve. The Saskatoon Shines has two locations. This particular home is located at 107 McCallum Lane.

  This place does a nice job of keeping their reviews high by sourcing out 5 star reviews so proceed with caution and ask questions. The home itself is beautiful but staffing is a huge issue. My loved one was often left completely alone while staff were on their phones in the basement. There is a help button, but don't expect a quick response. Once it was pressed and after 20 minutes, we checked with a staff member to see if they had noticed and they said yes... but still hadn't come. I would recommend looking elsewhere. I give two stars because the home itself is accessible and the backyard is beautiful.
