We engaged Solva to assist finding suitable living arrangements for a sibling in the Ottawa area. Being located three time zones away made it impossible to conduct a search first hand and we were relying on Juanita and Solva to suggest appropriate solutions. Juanita's prompt and helpful suggestions made all the difference with locations identified and tours organized in short order. Perhaps we were just lucky to find a suitable place in a matter of days, but luck does not factor into the responsive service Juanita provided. Aside from anything else, it has genuinely softened the impact of an inherently emotional process. For my part, Juanita and Solva's responsiveness and professional approach gave me confidence from the outset. That meant a lot to me as my distance from Ottawa created the potential for the search process to be a really difficult one.

My wife and I had the wonderful opportunity to work with Juanita Cody in seeking out a retirement community for my (now) 101 year old Mom- from the outset Juanita went out of her way to meet our every need adding value at every step of the way. in this venture we can only leave a glowing 10/10 rating and highly commend Solva for such a high quality resource - Bravo Juanita!

My 91yr old step-mother was hospitalized and unable to return to her residence, as she needed an increased level of care. I contacted Caroline Inman, Executive Director at Solva Senior Living and was very impressed. I am a retired physician from Montreal, but had absolutely no experience in dealing with all the necessary steps in finding a suitable place for my step-mom in Ottawa. Caroline guided me through the whole process with professionalism, knowledge, and compassion-responding promptly to all my questions. She was able to quickly find a suitable residence, needed hospital equipment, and recommend a company to pack and move belongings to the new residence. The 5 star rating of Solva is definitely deserved and I would not hesitate to recommend them to move a senior family member to the right retirement home.
