You get other elderlies that come into my father room and uses his bathroom or take some of his stuff like diapers. I have noticed that they are not prepared to receive new elderlies either, not much equipment to help them lift or have male nurses too help also. Nice place but that about it.

We have family members in both assisted living and independent living, and the experience in both areas has been outstanding. In assisted living, our loved one receives attentive, personalized care that makes them feel safe, valued, and comfortable. Meanwhile, our family member in independent living enjoys a vibrant, active lifestyle, with the confidence that support is always nearby if needed. It gives us complete peace of mind knowing that no matter the level of care or independence, Chapel Hill Residence provides the right balance of support, freedom, and compassion. Our 97 yr. old mom who was able minded but with mobility issues reluctantly went into Chapel Hill and was there for 9 months. She gradually became comfortable with the staff and eventually got to know them and enjoyed their company, although their attendance was not always according to what was scheduled. Some days she had no one to help get her up, washed and dressed for the day. The food was not great. She enjoyed some of the activities. We did have an issue about the lack of response we received when we shared our concerns about things missing from her suite.
