Disappointing customer service. Purchased a new ecobee when I moved and immediately realized the address was still set to my old place and contacted them to change it or cancel the order. Apparently neither could be done within minutes of placing the order. It shipped to the old address because they couldn't be bothered to change it.

AWESOME customer support for their thermostats and even good customer support is terribly rare these days. Got my thermostat WiFi issue resolved on Easter.

A Canadian firm based in Toronto, Ontario, that does not offer professional monitoring in Canada but does offer it in the US. Do not waste your time or money on this product if you are in Canada; go with Ring or another provider that provides professional monitoring to Canadians. Pathetic and sad when you think about that as an offering. Canada, you monitor yourself, while we help out the Americans. They do not advertise this anywhere on the website when you are purchasing this product. If you make a complaint, they show it to you under the help section. That is called misleading and false advertising and not very Canadian! They also do not offer outdoor cameras, which puts them behind the times. As mentioned, go with another firm.
