Senior Care Path Summary
Maple connects seniors and their families to Canadian-licensed doctors and nurse practitioners 24/7 without needing a referral. Consultations happen through secure text, audio, or video chat, making it easy for older adults to get care from home without travel or clinic wait times. The platform supports family members under one membership, helping seniors stay connected to their healthcare team anytime day or night.
Care includes same-day visits for common concerns, prescription ordering with home delivery options, and access to specialists like dermatologists and mental health professionals. One visit per patient per day is included in the membership, with all medical records kept securely online and accessible to the practitioner. This supports continuity of care for seniors managing chronic conditions like diabetes or heart disease.
The service emphasizes accessibility and privacy, following Canadian healthcare laws like PIPEDA and PHIPA. Maple is available on app and web, with testimonials from seniors highlighting the convenience of getting compassionate care without leaving home. Hi to all, today I had the opertunity to contact the Maple App in Nova Scotia today because one of my prescriptions was short! I was greeted with kindness and professionalism! I was soon connected to a doctor that could help me with refills on a perscription and I could pick it up at my local pharmacy! All within a few minutes and from the comfort of my home! I recommend the Maple App to all that have not yet gotten a family doctor or specialists to address their medical needs! Cheers to all, enjoy your day!😉😎

Update after 6 days of constant contact with customer support following Maple's response below: the issue is still unresolved. No fix, no refund, no meaningful follow-up. The suggestion to "reach out so a member of our team can look into this" is misleading — reaching out leads nowhere. If this is how support works in practice, the "care available anytime" advertising is not just an exaggeration, it's a liability. ----- Unreliable. The whole “see a doctor quickly” advertising is misleading. Every time I need to book an appointment, the app makes me re-verify my OHIP card and it ALWAYS glitches. I needed a doctor tonight and won’t be able to use the service because the app completely locks without re-verifying the ohip card. There is another chat window from a previous interaction a few weeks ago, with a photo of my card and the operator confirming it was valid. There is no live chat available at night, and no way to fix the issue. I should have gone to the ER. “skip the waiting line” only during business hours, apparently.

Maple has been great for me to get medication refills since I don’t have a family doctor. Some times there is a wait period after signing in but much better that wait periods in a hospital ER. Liberal gov. Shutting this site down March 31 in order to save money is awfull and not right. New contractor will no doubt charge for their services. Liberals say they’re not reducing health care but with this change they are.
