Vision therapy has truly been life-changing for my recovery. When I first started, I was struggling with symptoms that made even just opening my eyes quite difficult. Dr. Chan and Bernice have been absolutely amazing throughout this journey. Their knowledge, patience, and genuine care made such a huge difference through my recovery journey. They took the time to understand what I was going through and guided me step by step through the therapy process. Because of their support and expertise, my vision and overall functioning have improved and I have hope it will continue. I’m incredibly grateful for everything they’ve done to help me get to where I am today. If you’re considering vision therapy, I can’t recommend this team enough. Dr. Chan and Bernice truly care about their patients, and they are the reason my vision recovery has made the progress it has.

After a recent concussion, I went to the York Mills Eye Clinic for an eye assessment by Dr. Jason Chan. After my assessment, I was recommended to complete a 10-week Vision Therapy offered at the clinic, with the goal of reducing or eliminating my headaches and nausea, and to rebuild my vision stamina after my concussion. I decided to give it a try. My vision Therapist, Ms. Bernice Kan, worked with me for 10 weeks straight, and I was able to see improvement almost every week. At the end of the 10 weeks, I am happy to report that my headaches and nausea were gone, and I have much better vision stamina, allowing me to get back to regular work and family life. Thanks Dr. Chan and Ms. Kan!
