January 4 / 2026 Problematic pricing / grossly inflated pricing / not honoring contract pricing / totally unreliable hearing aids. In May 2023 Connect Hearing Edmonton Collingwood location provided me with Phonak Audeo L70-RT hearing aids for $900.00 each under 5 years contract with Alberta WCB / WCB paid for them. Dec 2025 one of the hearing aids was stolen by monkeys while on holidays. To replace the missing hearing aid Connect Hearing quoted me $6,600 for two or $3,360 for one. I offered them the $900.00 as per their 5 years contract with WCB. I was told that is WCB price and my price is $ 3,360.00 for one hearing aid / inflated 4 times. The hearing aids Phonak Audeo L70-RT has nice options except it is totally unreliable. It breaks down at least once a month . It is so unreliable that when I go on holidays I always must have spare set due to technical problems. Connect Hearing head office manager left a message for me to make a claim against my house insurance. Unfortunately I do not have the extra hearing aid insurance coverage but they told me even if I had the extra insurance the maximum payout would be $1,000.00. They do not pay for inflated prices. Stay away from Connect Hearing. Rip off company. Adam Makaruk.

I accompanied my partner to Connect Hearing in Callingwood because his hearing aid wasn’t working. Other places in Edmonton told us to book an appointment and said they were full, but we decided to walk in here and I’m so glad we did! The gentleman who helped us was incredibly kind, helpful and efficient. He checked and repaired the hearing aid in less than a minute! These days, it’s rare to find genuine people who truly care about helping others and are so dedicated to their work. We highly recommend Connect Hearing, Callingwood , we’re very grateful for the outstanding service and professionalism!
