Bath Planet Ottawa is a local, family-owned team led by owner Jeff, serving older adults with accessible bathroom renovations across Ottawa and surrounding areas. They specialize in converting traditional tubs to barrier-free showers, installing walk-in tubs, and creating fully accessible bathrooms with modern grab bars, fold-down seats, and handheld showers that blend seamlessly into home décor rather than looking clinical.
The company offers free in-home consultations where they assess your specific needs, take measurements and photos, and provide a detailed quote. Every renovation is taken back to the studs with new plumbing, drywall, and waterproofing rather than using cover-up systems, ensuring no hidden mold or shortcuts. Bath Planet installs quality Moen fixtures and stylish Invisia accessories designed for accessibility without compromising aesthetics.
They work closely with occupational and physiotherapists to ensure safe placement of all accessibility features. The company is BBB accredited, fully insured, and approved vendor with Veterans Affairs and March of Dimes, helping seniors and veterans afford accessibility upgrades through these programs. All projects come with a lifetime Bath Planet warranty and simple care instructions.
Most renovations take 2 to 7 days to complete. They offer flexible financing starting from $60 per month for tub conversions and other projects. Services include tub-to-shower conversions, walk-in showers, full bathroom renovations, shower renovations, and accessibility upgrades.

We are completely in love with our three newly renovated bathrooms! It was a pleasure dealing with Jeff and Melissa. They were always very helpful and accommodating. The fact it is a family run business really appealed to us. We trusted them with our visions and they did not disappoint. Scott did the work and Taylor did the painting. We also had Kyle the electrician come in a few times. They were all great to deal with and very good at what they did. We can’t say enough about the work Scott did. He is a meticulous worker down to the smallest details and he takes great pride in his work and making his clients happy. He was quiet, clean and kept his tools and equipment very organized and out of the way. He also always laid down runners on the floors to protect them which we appreciated. He made the whole experience a really pleasant one. We can’t recommend him enough. Thank you so much Bath Planet! You have some very happy customers in us.

We have had the best experience with Bath Planet. I first met with Jeff the owner. He was extremely pleasant and straight forward. We converted our tub and shower into a walk-in shower. The installer James was amazing and meticulous. Everything turned out just perfect. I strongly with confidence recommend this company and installer.

I would 100% recommend working with this company. We live in a high-rise condo building and contracted Bath Planet to replace our shower. The whole process went seamlessly. Our initial consult was with Jeff, our installer was James, and our painter was Taylor. All of which were professional, personable, and very good at what they do. Overall, I cannot speak highly enough about the quality of their work, if your thinking of doing your bathroom, I would definitely suggest going with Bath Planet Ottawa!
