I met Geoff at the home show. Boy am I ever glad I met him there! Stephen and Geoff came by to look at a un-sexy job on an upper back deck and stair repair which turned into a bit of a nightmare with water rot. They were very clear in their communication as the project and costs increased. It was a long project in the end but I felt in very good hands as they worked daily on our house for 2 months. More recently we had a smaller job for them to work on the exterior front of the house, and again they did a great job. Costs did run over again but we were very happy with the resulting outcome and we know our there will be no water getting to our foundation which is so important! We would love to have them back again maybe next time for an interior renovation (instead of repair)!

Since 2010, Stephen Lentz and the Constructo Group have performed a variety of repairs, replacements, and enhancements for us, continuing up to the present. When we first employed Stephen, I made sure to get a variety of quotes for the work that needed to be done. Over several occasions my next-door neighbour, an architect, when he watched what was being done said to me “That’s being done right”. After several instances of getting multiple quotes, and deciding I was getting excellent advice and work at a reasonable cost from Constructo, I started to use Stephen as my resource, a general contractor, to get quotes and supervise the work. It has always been done properly, on budget and with scrupulous honesty. There has never been a problem with people coming into our house. My wife and I will unhesitatingly choose Stephen again when the need arises. From my perspective, The Constructo Group is the dream team when renovations of any sort are planned. There are reasons I am a Constructo Group repeat client—several of them, in fact! The first is that Stephen Lentz is a man of integrity, as are all the members of his crew, so there‘s no fear of shoddy workmanship, unexplained extra costs, or being left in the lurch with a job half done. Both Stephen and Geoff are resourceful men of imagination, capable of finding solutions for the problems that crop up in construction; both keep up-to-date with current construction laws and with the latest home décor trends. Planning is a strong point: required permits are obtained, inspections arranged; materials are ordered in a timely fashion so projects aren‘t delayed. The crew arrives punctually, members communicate with civility, work well together. The work site is cleaned on a daily basis. Billing is detailed. Renovations Stephen undertook in 2020, including the installation of a barrier-less shower in our ensuite bathroom, enabled my husband to remain in our home; Stephen‘s experience installing aids for the disabled was a blessing for us both. Constructo Group remains my go-to renovation team, and I recommend them with confidence.
