We hired this company to renovate a bathroom in our home and unfortunately had a very negative experience overall. During the project, there was a leak that caused water damage to the ceiling in the room below. We also later discovered that the bathtub had not been properly supported underneath, which caused it to sag. To their credit, they eventually addressed that issue, although it required opening an adjacent wall. We also had concerns about the bathroom ventilation work. Initially, the fan appeared to vent into the ceiling space rather than outside. After repeated follow-up, an exterior vent was installed, but another contractor later advised us that the vent used was not appropriate for our flat roof setup. After installation, we experienced additional leaking during rain and snow. I understand that construction projects can run into problems, and mistakes can happen. My frustration came more from the difficulty getting issues acknowledged and resolved afterward. I reached out regarding repair costs but did not receive a response. Based on our experience, I would not use this company again.

Anastasia and her crew were awesome on the work they did on our basement (flood damage). She worked to our budget and when items came up, was totally transparent on costs etc. The work was great and worked quickly! Highly recommend!!

Thank you, Fix It Females, for our gorgeous, main floor re-fresh! We love the cleaner look with our light walls, smooth floors, and the cool subway tile backsplash I’ve wanted for years. Our job had its share of highs and lows - including delays, like any reno - but we chose FIF because we hoped for more communication and collaboration than traditional contractor approaches. That is exactly what we got! They even helped us make arrangements for our dog, which is a significant detail when strangers are coming in and out of the house for weeks. We are also grateful to have worked with a local family business where mom, Mary, brings heart and history as a woman in this industry, while her daughter, Annastacia, leads their company into the future. Thanks again for your respectful crew and their good work (that matched the estimate!)
