We had a stairlift installed on 5 May 2026 for my dad who was terminally ill. They were super eager to install it, offering installation in the same week, $3400 taxes in. My dad used the stairlift twice, before his condition got to a point where he could barely get out of bed. My dad passed away on 19 June 2026. When we called Motion to inquire about a buy back since it was brand new, they offered us a measly $600. I know they would take this & try to sell it for $2500+ to someone else because that’s what they offered us a used stairlift for. Their business behaviour shows a lack of compassion or empathy and a heavy hunger for greed. I would not recommend them to any one. In addition, the details about the buyback calculation provided in the reply below, was not explained by the salesman, at the time of inquiry. Convenient!

Paralyzed from a stroke and needing mobility equipment I felt incredibly overwhelmed. Jason was an instrumental partner in finding the right wheelchair to fit my specific needs. He brought in various chair and seat samples to help me find the best alignment and took the time to discuss custom options for my left arm due to my hemiplegia. He never once made me feel rushed or pressured; he truly listened and ensured my best interests were his focus. He even arranged for a representative to bring a power-assist add-on to my home, bringing a demo chair along so I could properly test how it would work with my setup. Beyond the wheelchair, he guided me through selecting and arranging the installation for essential home items like a chair lift to get upstairs, safety grab pole, safety grab bars, explaining every piece clearly. Jason’s patience, expertise, and genuine care turned a daunting experience into a smooth journey toward greater independence. I am so incredibly grateful for his support. If you are looking for someone who is knowledgeable, professional, and truly invested in their clients, Jason is the person to see.

It was my husband that had the appointment and he was very impressed and pleased with care he received and the explanations he was given on his hearing. Would highly recommend to anyone that asked where he went.
