On 2025.07.04 at approx. 5pm, I (F) was alone, waiting for the working elevator in the lobby of my residential building when I heard someone knocking on the secured entry to the building where the buzzer system is. I glanced over my shoulder an glimpsed an unknown man, shook my head no and turned back to the elevator. NOTE: There have been several safety/security issues in recent years all stemming from unauthorized people slipping into the building. Building mgmt deals with it swiftly & efficiently. I hear something muffled about 'elevator' and realizing who he may be, I turned and starting walking towards the door. As I am proceeding towards the door the TRIDENT employee put his mouth to crease of the door and screamed (not spoken, not even yelled but SCREAMED) at me to open the door, that he is here to fix the elevator then gesturing behind him he said, "Or I can just leave.....I don't have to stay" I stopped short of opening the door and asked who he was talking to? After some very rude back-and-forth where the TRIDENT employee continued to threaten to leave and it would be my fault the elevator didn't get fixed. I repeatedly said that I was a tenant and don't know him, and that I wasn't' building management. The TRIDENT employee then gained access by piggybacking when another tenant used his keyfob to enter rather than actually contact the superintendent or other management. The TRIDENT employee continued to berate me as he waited for the working elevator, telling me to stop harassing him, which I believe was for the benefit of the male tenant as the TRIDENT employee was the aggressor throughout. I had to physically move away from the elevators down the only hallway that has two occupied apts, one of which was the superintendent residence. During this time the TRIDENT employee is still berating me for not opening the door to give him access, even trying to intimidate me by getting the male tenant to agree with him. The TRIDENT employee then softens his glare and in the most condescending voice, talking to me as if I were a disobedient child, tells me to go back to my home (????) I did not leave the hallway until the door to the elevator he got into was closed. I then went out in front of the building to see if there was an obvious work vehicle that I should have noticed that made this TRIDENT employee so angry and rude that I was scolded for being unwilling to risk my safety and the security of all those that reside here, to allow an unknown male with no visible identification or even the TRIDENT company name/logo on a t-shirt; after work hours, armed with - from a female's prospective - tools that could easily be used for intimidation or as a weapon. I proceed to the back parking lot were I found the TRIDENT company vehicle and took down the information. While waiting for the elevator to return to my apt the TRIDENT employee stepped out of the elevator and smirked at me with a sarcastic Have a nice day before the TRIDENT employee exited the building. 2025.07.07 - I called TRIDENT today to make them aware of the situation, I spoke to Andre who listened without comment and when I was through he simply said he would look into it and check the schedule. No apology, didn't request my name or contact info, nothing. I was verbally attacked and physically intimidated a by a TRIDENT employee while he on the job and feel that I was completely dismissed by the mgr. Andre. I will be writing a formal complaint and sending it to my building management company as well as one to the owner who I believe is Alan. BTW As of the writing of this message, the elevator is still not in service.
