My mother moved into Lakeview Senior Home two months ago, and our family couldn't be happier with the decision. She has settled in so well and truly enjoy living there.The staff are wonderful- many of them speak Chinese, which makes communication easier and comforting for her. The food is delicious and my mom loves, the environment is very clean, and the overall atmosphere feels welcoming and caring. I especially want to mention her case manager Leona Wong. She is incredibly kind, patient, and helpful. Her professionalism and genuine care stand out, and there is simply no comparison to the case manager we experienced at Southview Senior home. Leona has made a big difference in my mom's transition and daily happiness. I am grateful for the excellent care my mother receives at Lakeview. Highly recommend this place to families looking for a supportive and high quality Senior home.

My parent lives at Lakeview Age Care ( North Tower ) and I visit it at least twice a week. This long term care home is absolutely terrible. Dirty, quality of meals are horrible, no nutrition value, often insufficent, and services are extremely extremely limited. Be prepared to hire your own helper(s) if one can afford it or to let your loved one die of starvation in there. I have visited several other long term care homes in Vancouver, this one is the worst I have ever encountered. No wonder this senior facility is rated 2.5/5.0, now I can understand. I hope someone in this Care Home adminstration will look into these issues in there. Thank you.

My beautiful Mom, Patricia, was a civil servant, worked for the Government (RCMP) for over 20 years. We brought her to Lakeview due to her need for full time care, and Dad too. In retrospect there were lots of scenarios that weren't quite right for them, which were laden with poor excuses throughout their time there. Mom passed away a few months ago, and when we were notified it was agreed that we could pick up her things the following day. Arrived mid-morning to find all of her belongings ...on the door step (had been there since 630am!), and had been completely ransacked. Salvaged a few family photographs...so speechless and sickened by the insensitive, careless, disrespectful and asinine display of (now) empty cardboard boxes put there by "an employee who is new and should have known better"(manager)...that I haven't been able to post this until now.
