We came a few months back to add my mom on the waiting list at Amica. Claire gave us a lovely tour, was so patient and took her time to explain and show us this beautiful place. We were invited to join their Brazilian themed day for appetizers and drinks last week and Claire was there to greet us which made us feel so comfortable 😊. The staff were so friendly and went all out and and made it SO festive for everyone there!! The food was spectacular and the chef was always making sure things were topped up, just so much detail went into that day... it just really shows they care. My mother is so excited to start her next chapter of life here at Amica! Robyn McArthur and Marilyn DeHaan 🌸.

My aged parents are here - very well taken care of. Meals are varied, the other residents are friendly and there is a happy buzz in the dining room at meal times. Rooms are very nice. Staff are helpful and engaged.

Once you have made the decision that you need to be in an independent living seniors residence, look no further. If you live anywhere near Sidney BC this is the best of the lot! Outstanding staff, particularly the young servers in the dining room, who are patient, thoughtful and learn your name, your likes and dislikes very quickly. Excellent food, well prepared and presented, and lots of it if you're hungry. My wife and I are happy to be here.

Amica Beechwood Village is a retirement residence in seaside Sidney, north of Victoria. Residents can live independently or receive scheduled support in assisted living suites. Short respite stays are also offered.
Days include chef-prepared meals, activities and outings on the residence shuttle. There are gardens, patios, a fitness centre, theatre, hair salon and spa. If more care is needed later, sister residences in Victoria offer memory care.
