Words cannot express my gratitude for every single Staff member at Marmora Caressant Care. A greeting of 'Hello Mary' or 'Hi Mary' made me feel welcomed each and every day at Caressant Care. I can give many examples from the Kitchen Staff, Housekeeping, PSWs, Nursing, Activity Staff and Management! My heart was full when I came to see my Father every day and when I left Dad in care with the wonderful Staff it was overflowing. I was sad meeting Joyce for the first time knowing that my Dad will be residing in Caressant Care as I know this marked a new chapter in Dad's life. All I have ever wanted is the best for my Father. Within our 2 hour meeting I knew my Dad was at the right Nursing Home! Several Residents noticed that something was not right the last 2 days and were kind enough to ask about my Father. It was confirmed to me that the Residents care about each other. Sub par level of care. Unfortunately the employees are there to do the bare minimum to get their paycheck, and nothing more. They completely failed my grandpa. Don’t even think about putting your family there. Edit: it’s almost one year later and my family is still very traumatized by the negligence by the staff at Caressant Care Marmora that directly led to my grandfathers death. I strongly warn everyone to not trust this nursing home if you want your family to be in good care. Please don’t make the same mistake we did.

Several years ago we were blessed to have our father come to your home. It wasn’t our first pick but soon we realized how special it was. Kind caring people all around. Never heard a mean word. The residents were beautifully cared for and would now be my first choice always. The director Jennifer McKay was outstanding as with all of her people. With warmest thanks. Barb and Fred Hannemann.
