I recently toured Chartwell Edgewater while looking for a place for my parents, and I was really impressed. The space is beautiful, the atmosphere feels welcoming, and everything seems thoughtfully set up for comfort and ease of living. It truly looks like a wonderful place to call home. Highly recommend booking a tour if you’re considering it—you’ll be glad you did.

I absolutely love Chartwell!! My friend moved there this year, and has only received so much love from everyone that works there. Everyone that I’ve met is so kind, compassionate, friendly, and overall happy to be there. The place is very beautiful, very clean, everything is new and, well maintained. Its centrally located, in a beautiful part of town, with other things to do close by, so it’s very convenient. My friend always tells me how well he’s taken care of, and how nice everyone is with him, he enjoys the food, and loves the place. I highly recommend this place!

My gratitude and peace of mind comes not just from Chartwell's excellent care for Mum over 6+ years, but from their handling of her recent death. With their early warning about her decline, I travelled to be with her while she was still alert. Staff welcomed me warmly, set up a cot in her room, and lovingly guided me through her final days. Mum and I experienced the perfect balance of facility resources with home-like comfort—exactly as we'd hoped. We spent precious time together as I talked, sang, and shared simple moments. When challenges arose, staff consulted thoughtfully to ensure her comfort. When she was ready, she peacefully slipped away. One of her favorite staff even helped me dress her for her final farewell. Having "a good death" without regrets is truly a blessing. Though still navigating my sadness, I'm incredibly grateful for Team Chartwell.
