When I received the call from my father’s AHS transition coordinator telling me there was a placement available at St. Teresa Place, I had no idea how fortunate we were. I wasn’t familiar with it. It wasn’t on our top three list. And at a 25-minute drive each way, it didn’t seem the most convenient option for our family. She told me, “You’ve won the lottery.” She was absolutely right. That call set the stage for my father’s final four years in a home defined by compassion, dignity, and extraordinary care. As his needs increased over time, every single one was not only met, but exceeded. The team consistently went above and beyond to ensure his comfort, preserve his dignity, and support him through each stage with patience and kindness. St. Teresa Place is bright, welcoming, and thoughtfully designed with outdoor gardens and walking paths, inside there are large comfortable dining and gathering rooms, The resident rooms on each “neighbourhood “are sunny and well-appointed, creating a true sense of home. The food choices are excellent, and the recreation programs are engaging and meaningful. But what truly sets this place apart is the people. The care team is singularly committed to providing exceptional support, not only to the residents, but to their families as well. We never felt alone. We were included, informed, and treated with empathy every step of the way. If your loved one is offered a placement at St. Teresa Place, trust this: you have won the lottery.

I don't like this place it's not a welcoming place it's dreary and it's messy in the rooms . I don't recommend it.

Great food, staff does only basic care, there is no extra activities for the seniors staying there. Sometimes when you go to visit it feels like a jail for people whose only crime is getting old.
