If your loved one is set to be sent here and it was not your choice, fight it tooth and nail. They are understaffed, unwilling to appropriately communicate with families on concerns, quick to snap judgements and reactionary actions against residents, and extremely pushy on the religious side of things even if you state the incoming resident is not interested in faith or service. Any "care home" that takes action regarding the care or residency of seniors and only informs families after undertaking action is acting against best interests or good care for the seniors. Based on some other reviews here it reinforces our experience that this home only wants easy, compliant residents, and that the staff are looking to punch in and out without much heavy lifting, mentally or physically. Shameful.

Lovely place with several buildings each catering to a specific need. The independent living building has nicely modernized rooms, a balcony and easy access to laundry, dining room, and more. Staff are all very kind.

As each day goes by we enjoy our life at Evergreen Manor even more and are grateful for the dedication from the staff in making that happen.
