  I do not live in Edmonton ahd have used HomeFirst HealthCare to provide in-home assistance to my elderly mother since Sept /2025. In all respects, they have been excellent with her in-home care as well as their communication with me as it relates to her wellbeing. The health aid who has been assigned to my mother (Jennifer) has been exceedingly professional and patient. I could not be more pleased with how HomeFirst HealthCare has cared for my mother in my absence. Highly recommended.

  The home care aids and management at Homefirst Healthcare have been an answer to my prayers.  It can be very overwhelming trying to find the best care for the complex needs of a parent with dementia.  From the first assessment, Krista put me at ease and it was clear she had experience in health care as an RN and was very knowledgeable about dementia patients.... like it was a passion project for her.  They were able to find home care aids that suited mom's personality so she would feel comfortable with them (as strangers) coming into her home and maintain a consistent level of care.  As mom's dementia has progressed and her needs have changed, Homefirst has been very accommodating, reassuring and comforting as the reality can be emotionally painful and draining.  I genuinely feel that the staff care about their clients, even going as far as to help advocate for patients that cant advocate for themselves or for family that just don't know how to navigate the health care system. When I was on a much needed respite vacation, my mom ended up in hospital.  Krista and her HCA stayed with mom in the hospital to comfort her, even staying through the night, until I was able to return home and get to the hospital.  I was not billed for this extra care.  They did this because they genuinely have compassion and care for people... going over and above for people.  In a society that is so self absorbed, it renewed my faith that there are people that have qualities of love, compassion, patience and generous kindness.  It proves that angels do exist.  I am very thankful for the staff at Homefirst. I have had to advocate and fight a broken health care system to get every minute of care for my mom.  Homefirst has been there to support me every step to make mom's life the best she can live at this stage.  They really support their clients in preserving their dignity as they get older.  Every challenge is met with practical and innovative ideas. Overall, I would recommend Homefirst healthcare to anyone who wants top notch care for their elderly parents.  They are expertly and professionally trained.  I have all confidence and trust in them caring for my mother keeping her safe and well looked after. Thank you

  My experience with this company has been amazing, my caregivers take amazing care of my wife! Office is easy to deal with, Hannah and lesa go above and beyond in her care and you can tell these girls truly care. Couldn’t ask for a better experience!
