When my parents lived at this residence, the services and management were excellent in early 2024 when Ms. Ruel was the director. The staff was friendly and the meals were excellent. Unfortunately, over the following months, after Ms. Ruel, a cook, and other staff members left, I noticed a decline in services and other problems. - Only one elevator for the entire building - Staff shortages - Bathroom that barely allows an elderly person to move around comfortably with a walker - We were informed of a $2,750 billing error by the residence, which we promptly reimbursed (March 2025) - My parent was served a hot dog between two slices of bread because they were out of hot dog buns (October 2025) As of now (late May 2026), I have been trying for five months to obtain a signed copy of my parents' lease (plus an addendum) and I am still waiting for the documents. I also frequently requested a statement of account but was unable to obtain this document after my father's death, which caused a great deal of stress for my family. My mother now lives in a different residence, and I've noticed that we always receive same-day responses from the management of the new residence to our questions, in addition to the security and the three menu choices per meal. Furthermore, the Google reviews are not written by staff members.
