  This facility presents several significant issues. Firstly, the sales representative, Shweta, markets it as supportive living, despite it clearly not being an assisted living or long-term care facility. Many residents here would be better suited for memory care or long-term care, which is unfair to both the residents and their families of the very few who are capable or for the ones being misled that the care will be provided. Medication not being given properly or on time is constant and the head nurse Katy could care less when contacted. Secondly, the Executive Director, Karen, consistently demonstrates rudeness and dismissiveness, lacking customer service orientation. It's often difficult to engage her in a meaningful conversation. The head nurse also maintains an unwelcoming demeanor, rarely smiling and exhibiting similar rudeness. Furthermore, the facility appears to struggle with basic operational tasks, such as conducting accurate headcounts during meals. I personally witnessed this when I found my Nan on the floor after being told by front desk staff that they were unsure if she had attended lunch. Given these serious concerns, I will be contacting the Retirement Homes Regulatory Authority. This facility has a history of incidents, and residents well-being has been compromised. I strongly advise others to avoid this place. I urge the company to thoroughly investigate the management at this site, as the leasing, executive director, and care manager appear to be misleading, rude, and unprofessional. As previous reviews have noted, many of the five-star ratings seem to originate from biased managements friends and family offering misleading information.

  I can’t say enough good things about Maplecrest Village. My mother has been living there for over a year and she is very happy. The staff go to great lengths to provide excellent service. I highly recommend Maplecrest Village!

  I have been living here at Maplecrest Village Retirement Residence from 2 years now, and it genuinely feels like home to me. From the moment I moved in, felt welcomed and included. The staff knows all the residents by name and are always kind, patient, and ready to help with anything we all need. There’s a real sense of care here that makes everyday life easier and more comfortable. We also enjoy the activities and the chance to spend time with other residents—it helps make the community feel friendly and connected. We’re grateful to be here and feel safe, supported, and cared for every day.
