  Earlier this Spring my elderly mother began experiencing rapid cognitive decline while continuing to live alone. We were receiving minimal support through the local community agency and it was extremely difficult to get more support. In order to keep up with my mother's rapidly changing care needs, we opted to utilize Lifeguard Homecare Inc. It began with Heidi discussing my mother's needs and carefully analyzing how best to support my mother and myself, her main caregiver, to organize a routine that would help my mother stabilize. All of the staff from Heidi, the schedulers, and the workers that came in to help my mother were phenomenal. All were very courteous, caring, and supportive. Communication was clear and whenever I had a question or concern, staff handled it immediately. Unlike the community agency, support staff from Lifeguard always showed up and accomplished tasks and supports as planned. The benefit, my mother got what she needed and I didn't have to make a million calls to solve problems as I regularly had to do with community support. While my mother is now in a different situation, I would not have been able to cope with the transition and changes my mother experienced without the support by Lifeguard. Thank you so very much for helping to save my sanity and more importantly giving my mother quality care, assistance, and emotional support by qualified, superior, caring, and knowledgeable staff. While utilizing a private agency does cost money that some elderly may not have, the quality of service and support, and the ease with which utilizing this type of support offers, was certainly money well spent! The high quality of care by Lifeguard was well worth it. I highly recommend Lifeguard Homecare Inc. for caring for your loved one. Thanks again Heidi and staff. Well done! 🤗

  I have been working with Lifeguard for 2 years now, coordinating staff with that of another agency to adequately support my mom. Even during Covid, and all the limitations that that entailed, Heidi was very accommodating to meet our needs. Recently, the other agency I was working with closed shop and so I asked Heidi if Lifeguard could handle 100% of mom's care. Thankfully they could. The schedulers have been very good at communicating and given I'm trying to manage all of this 2000 miles away communication and responsiveness are critical. Lifeguard has been a blessing in enabling my mom to remain home and cared for. I'm very grateful for their service.

  When my Dad was suddenly diagnosed with pancreatitis and a feeding tube it was very overwhelming and difficult emotionally and physically! The Lifeguard nurses and psw's were amazing! With so much patience the nurses and psw's taught us everything about the feeding tube and took away so much stress from my family. They gave my father back his independence and brought the joy back into my fathers eyes. Highly recommend the Lifeguard team to care for your family members.
