When I was 4, this was a church. It was a different time. I lived at the end of this block. The road in the back used to have a fence. I heard kids so I climed it one morning. I saw a bus. I heard it was a trip to the Maple lodge farm. I asked the priest or minister guy if could come. He said "Ask your parents." I pretended to, and went with them. We went to a Maple farm lodge. long Cabins in a maple farm with long tables and log benches. I came home at like supper time ish and my family barely noticed. I have seen the lodges on Maple syrups over the years and wondered... "Is this the same dude?" I moved to Edmonton Alberta a year later but, over the years I googled this place of course and saw he was always into that maple syrup company. This week I noticed it's a retirement home. Is he in there? Cause, now I just wanna ask him if he remembers me, and to say "thank you", for that intro to religion, and the best pancake memmory trip I ever could have imagined.
