Facility and food are good but staffing and oversight are extremely poor. I saw treatment of seniors no one should ever see. There was constant understaffing and it was often difficult to find staff. In the evenings I found residents lying on the floor, piled up at the elevator, crying and banging on doors. Our parent had over 20 falls in the span in a matter of months. I would not recommend this facility.

I can’t say enough about the caring and compassionate team at Oakwood Manor. Every time my therapy dog Moro and I visit, we feel so warmly welcomed by both the staff and residents. The staff go above and beyond to create a supportive, joyful environment where residents feel valued and cared for. It’s a true pleasure to spend time in a community where kindness and compassion shine so brightly. Oakwood Manor is a very special place.

My mom lived at Parkwood Court, Victoria for 2-1/2 years until she passed away in early 2021. Not only was she well looked after at Parkwood Court, but the staff cared about her as well and it showed. Some of them were like extended family to her, particularly this past year during the pandemic. I cannot say enough about the support that was provided to Mom and to our family in her last days. A BIG thank you to all the staff at Parkwood Court for their care of Mom (Kay) these past 2-1/2 years.
