  This place needs to be shut down. My doctors orders said that I needed dressing changing once a week and they wouldn’t let me come anytime before that despite me needing it to be changed when wet or possibly getting sepsis. They threatened to cancel my care because I needed to come in before one week. Extremely disrespectful and have spam called me up to 5 times a day despite me telling them not to. Extremely unprofessional and downright negligent, they don’t deserve to have licenses.

  I had a catheter inserted two weeks ago. It wasn’t right and wasn’t properly passing urine. I kept getting an urgency to pee. A week later I had blood in my pee and it still was not easily passing urine. I saw my doctor who confirmed the presence of blood and ordered a ‘pee’ culture. Two days ago, on October 28, it stopped working altogether. I went to paramed. When I described the problem and told the technician I had blood in my urine she argued with me and said there was no blood in my pink-tinged bag. She flushed the catheter. Five hours later it still wasn’t working. I returned the next night to have the problem rectified. I then had the technician and her boss both being rude. They didn’t listen to me and insisted that it was working and there was no blood. Once again they flushed the catheter. Still no pee so she pushed the catheter in until pee came out. Three hours later the catheter wasn’t passing urine. The technicians that I encountered at paramed were not properly trained and were generally not particularly competent. The manager was rude and ignored anything I tried to tell her. Paramed should not be trusted to perform simple tasks. I would guess that having them do more complicated procedures could be life-threatening.

  I was truly amazed and thankful for the home care I received from Paramed. I had care for a post surgery wound. Nurse Rachel was assigned to my case. I was immediately at ease. She sure knew what she was doing and she was so gentle with her care. She was so good that I healed up quickly with no complications. Actually maybe too quickly because I really enjoyed her visits. At one point she had prior commitments and had to skip a couple of visits but 2 others filled in and we didn't miss a beat! Thank you Rachel and Paramed , much appreciated Peter
