It's unfortunate that I'm forced to give a one-star rating because they don't deserve any! If you love your loved ones, please DO NOT send them to this residence. The services you pay for and are entitled to are not being provided. Communication is abysmal, and they leave patients to fend for themselves! Ignorance is their strength.

My stepfather has been here for almost a year. There was a breakdown, and the problem still hasn't been fixed. My partner has seen the manager twice about it in over six months, and she keeps postponing the repair deadline, using the excuse that it's a contractor who isn't doing things within a reasonable timeframe. I've seen meals served cold, especially the last ones served. This is unacceptable to these residents, and they don't complain for fear of reprisals from the staff. If a bath attendant is sick or has resigned, the schedule and days are changed and not respected. Why doesn't the replacement take the existing schedule? Some residents have their routines, and this is inconvenient for them. There's someone higher up than the manager who isn't aware of what's going on. They could be more efficient in providing better service to the tenants so they're comfortable, and these higher-ups would address the situation quickly enough to satisfy them. It's the tenants who give you a job. For example, I'd like to see the manager eat a cold croque-monsieur, stale bread, or some other cold meal among the last ten tenants to be served. Had we seen the Google dissatisfaction rating beforehand, we would have looked elsewhere, hoping for improvement and allowing us to write better reviews. Madam Manager, if you were a tenant here, would you accept living in these conditions?

Unfortunately, these places are well UNDERSTAFFED! Students needing jobs with little experience working with seniors! But to complain may make things worse for our loved one😥 Living in western Canada, I sent a small gift to my mother only to find out that 4 days after confirmed delivery, it sat on her floor at the nursing station…. No one thought to take it to her😥 This is but a minor detail, but one of the little things that are huge and important for the senior!!!! They deserve soooo much more! 😞 But let’s take their $$$…..😡
