I had an interview with right at home last week they called a few hours later and hired me told me they were sending the documents for me to fill out, this week i got an email saying that they didn’t want to continue felt pretty sad after all the things I sent them

We only used Right at Home on one occasion when we moved my 90 year old mother from one nursing home to another, but I was so impressed with their service. Yes, they were professional and easy to work with, but they actually really care. They took the time to find about my mother’s needs and to tailor their service to really meet them. They went to the trouble of screening for Covid so the psw didn’t need to wear a mask. They found out what her interests were and her difficulties and they worked hard to meet her needs. All for a two hour job. So impressed. And the support person was truly lovely. Highly recommend.

While it was challenging to trust my Mom to the care and support of others, I was more than reassured and comforted by a recent experience ... I ran into Mom with her care provider Tara, doing Mom's weekly grocery shopping. They did not notice me at first, and while I waited for them to catch up so I could say hello, I had the chance to watch their interactions. You can imagine my joy and reassurance to see Mom and Tara having a great time doing the week's shopping - laughing and talking like the best of friends. Clearly, despite Mom's limitations she and Tara have established a wonderful relationship from which Mom can only benefit. Mom now refers to all the care providers (and a shout out to Gloria as well, Mom's other main care provider) from Right At Home as "my lady friends" !
